About the Role We are seeking an experienced HRP Performance Test Analyst to lead load, stress, and performance validation of the HRP platform as part of the Facets-to-HRP migration for VNS Health. This role is critical to ensuring the HRP Windows desktop application and its integrations can handle expected concurrent-user and transaction volumes ahead of each migration milestone and go-live.
Key Responsibilities
- Performance framework design : Build and implement load, stress, and performance test scenarios for HRP desktop and API layers.
- Desktop application testing : Capture response times across screens and workflows in lower environments.
- Concurrent-user validation : Execute transaction-volume profiles for milestones like Provider Conversion, Medicare Enrollment, Medicaid Membership, Claims Cutover, and Hypercare.
- Load-testing scripts : Simulate peak enrollment/claims surge scenarios and validate against P50/P95/P99 targets.
- Performance bottleneck analysis : Work with technical teams to isolate and remediate issues across application, database, integration, or infrastructure layers.
- Documentation & reporting : Prepare test plans, thresholds, and results for stakeholder reporting.
- Business volume validation : Ensure HRP performance under daily production file volumes (837 claims, 834 enrollments, 278 authorizations).
- Risk tracking : Manage open performance-related risks and questions ahead of go-live.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with HealthRules Payer (HRP) performance testing.
- Background in healthcare payer domain with exposure to claims adjudication, enrollment, and provider data volumes.
- Strong knowledge of system migration testing including parallel and cutover validation.
- Familiarity with EDI transactions and their impact on adjudication systems.
- Proficiency in SQL and infrastructure monitoring .
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills with client-facing experience.
Ideal Candidate A hands-on performance test engineer who understands both desktop application load testing and healthcare payer transaction volumes, and who can quickly stand up realistic test scenarios to ensure HRP readiness.
