The ideal candidate will be instrumental in developing and implementing robust EHS programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a culture of safety within the organization. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO)

  • Stay updated of local and global EHS regulations and ensure organizational compliance including develop and implement programs to address regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies for mitigation, implement safety measures to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans to address potential incidents, Coordinate drills and training sessions to ensure preparedness.
  • Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and near misses; Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and document local EHS procedures, aligning them with global policies, and maintaining a comprehensive record of EHS documentation for reference and audits.
  • Establish and implement an EHS Management System in alignment with ISO 45001 and ISO14001.
  • Develop and oversee waste management programs to minimize environmental impact.
  • Collaborate on sustainability initiatives, ensuring compliance with waste management, GHG reduction and water consumption global requirements.

work experience requirements

  • Minimum experience of 5 years in the same field.
  • Proven experience in EHS roles with a focus on regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing safety measures.
  • Familiarity with emergency response planning and incident investigation.
  • Track record of successfully developing and implementing EHS programs.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with regulatory agencies.
