Head of Strategy, Marketing, and External Affairs - BA Americas

About This Role

This leadership role guides and orchestrates the definition, development, and execution of strategies and initiatives, standards, regulations, government affairs, and communication. It covers product management, brand management, pricing, business intelligence, and digitization in concert with the Business Area's (BA) respective markets and businesses, supporting sustainable and profitable growth in the Americas region for Passenger Light Truck, Truck, and Specialty Tires. The position leads, manages, and mentors a team of 30 with 7 direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate the definition and development of strategies on BA and market/business level for profitable growth
• Coordinate the BA's Marketing strategies and initiatives in concert with key functional and regional stakeholders
• Steer the functional Americas Marketing organization (product management, brand management, pricing, business intelligence, and communication)
• Manage the BA Marketing budget and oversee deployment of Marketing resources of BA markets/businesses
• Develop BA Marketing group and organization in concert with Marketing managers of BA markets/businesses
• Take the lead in dialog and cooperation across internal and external stakeholders who contribute with research, data, and insights, in order to build insightful models and reports focusing on markets, consumers, and customers
• Represent BA Marketing to Division and other Business Areas
