Job Description As Head of Product at Volta Health, you will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for a platform transforming university healthcare operations. You’ll manage a distributed engineering team while staying hands-on with technical implementations like HL7/FHIR connectivity and Stripe integrations. What You Will Do

• Lead the full product lifecycle from roadmap definition to feature release, managing a small, high-performing distributed engineering team across multiple time zones.
• Drive technical client implementations by managing API integrations, SFTP file pipelines, and complex HL7/FHIR data connectivity for insurance and university partners.
• Collaborate directly with university IT teams, insurance carriers, and broker partners as the primary technical voice during onboarding and product development.

The ideal candidate

• Proven experience in product leadership at an early-stage startup (seed to Series B) with a strong track record of hands-on technical execution.
• Deep domain expertise in healthcare, specifically with health plan operations, insurance enrollment, billing workflows, or healthcare data standards like HL7/FHIR.
• Highly technical background comfortable working with cloud infrastructure, Stripe payment systems, and complex data integrations while maintaining a product-first mindset.
