About This Role

Leading and managing the food and non-food goods departments in a Kaufland branch is the core of this role. The position suits a leader with organizational talent and a flair for retail who can independently and results-orientedly guide a team of 20–40 colleagues to top performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the food and non-food goods departments independently and results-orientedly
• Actively support daily business operations and lead a team of approximately 20–40 colleagues towards peak performance
• Analyze relevant key figures (e.g., sales, write-offs) and derive measures for the long-term success of the department
• Create and coordinate personnel deployment planning and ensure optimal workflows
• Ensure optimal goods availability and present the assortment in a customer-oriented and attractive manner

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience and an eye for key figures, enabling solutions in complex situations
• Extensive knowledge of the retail sector and comprehensive product knowledge in food and non-food areas
• Very good German language skills for efficient and smooth organization of the department
• Flexible and reliable support for the team around branch opening hours
