Head of Global Leadership Communications

About This Role

Leading the Leadership Communications team and providing strategic communications support to the Global Chairman and CEO are the core functions of this role. It involves directing global leadership communications projects for both internal and external audiences, aligning the Global Chairman and CEO's profile across various platforms, and guiding internal communications strategy for senior leaders. This position suits a communications professional with a focus on strategic internal communications within a global professional services environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic communications support to the Global Chairman and CEO
• Lead the Leadership Communications team, supporting the Global Chief Operating Officer and other senior leaders
• Direct a wide range of global leadership communications projects that reach both internal and external audiences
• Lead and oversee the alignment and coordination of the Global Chairman and CEO's internal and external profile via various platforms
• Guide and execute the Global Chairman and CEO, COO, and CAO's internal communications strategy including message development, townhalls (speeches, presentations), partner conferences, and reporting
• Advise the firm's global senior leaders on best practices and proven communications approaches that enable successful programs and deliver exceptional results
• Serve as strategic advisor to ensure alignment and consistency of internal messaging across all channels
• Develop and implement program measurement aligned to the Global Corporate Affairs Strategy
• Leverage national/regional activity globally where appropriate
• Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Requirements

• Minimum twelve years of recent experience (minimum of five years at a senior level) in communications with a focus on development and implementation of strategic internal communications strategies for professional services, preferably global
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or fifteen years relevant experience in communications or a related field
• Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams
• Exceptional project management and influencing skills with the ability to get buy-in and support for projects from diverse and often widespread stakeholders
• Comfortable working with senior leaders
• Superior writing and communication skills with the ability to understand business priorities and translate them into compelling and actionable content
• Deep knowledge and understanding of professional services
