Head of Chemistry & Biology

We are recruiting a Head of Chemistry & Biology for a school in Ningbo, with a start date in August 2026.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of lesson plans for the Upper School Biochemistry course, implement the math curriculum and lead a team to continually improve the development and use of textbooks.
• Participate in the design of the Biochemistry curriculum and the development of textbooks, and participate in various related online and offline conferences and trainings.
• Teach the subject in full English or bilingual.
• Lead the change of classroom teaching model of Biochemistry in the secondary section to create a student-centered and inquiry learning math classroom.
• Organize discipline groups to offer after-school elective courses to enrich cross-grade and disciplinary educational opportunities.
• Organize and lead subject group meetings and teaching and research, promote communication and cooperation among teachers, and share teaching experience and resources.
• Participate in school activities, parent interviews, professional development meetings, etc.
• Complete other tasks assigned by the school.

Requirements

• Master degree or above in the Biochemistry related field.

• Teaching experience in Biochemistry is preferred.

• Teaching certificate.

• Good communication skills, fluent in both Chinese and English.

• Master degree or above in the Math subject.

• Teaching certificate.

• Two or more years teaching experience in Math.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
