Head of Auxiliary Accounting Section

About This Role

This role involves overseeing the accurate accounting of an asset portfolio worth approximately 8 billion euros within the market-finance division. The individual will be responsible for all asset valuation operations and will be the primary contact for the Ministry of Armed Forces' financial affairs department and the Court of Auditors for annual state account certification.

Responsibilities

• Define directives for the implementation of fixed asset valuation
• Define directives for inventory accounting
• Contribute to developments in auxiliary fixed asset accounting and inventory accounting systems
• Oversee control activities on fixed asset entries and inventory accounting movements
• Chair the SIMu permanent committee for accounting reliability
• Act as correspondent for the Court of Auditors, the General Directorate of Public Finance, and the Ministry's Financial Affairs Department
• Participate in level 2 audits of the EPMu (main munitions establishments)
• Exercise level 1 internal accounting control over the logistics management managers of the main munitions establishments (EPMu)
