Head Chef

About This Role

This Head Chef role is for a busy Pho restaurant, leading a hard-working and skilled team of chefs. The ideal candidate will be supportive, friendly, and hands-on, ready to assist in all sections of the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of chefs, including wok chefs, line chefs, and sous chefs
• Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations
• Control stock and par levels through mindful ordering
• Use different systems for day-to-day tasks, such as Acquire for stock ordering

Requirements

• Passionate about cooking fresh, vibrant, and flavoursome food
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Head Chef
• Experience managing a team of chefs
• Strong knowledge in food safety and managing compliance within health and safety regulations
• Experience controlling stock and par levels through mindful ordering
• Comfortable using different systems as part of your day-to-day
