About the role
Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and Express.js Design and consume RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between services Implement dynamic and responsive user interfaces using JavaScript, Backbone.js, and DustJS Style frontend components using LESS and maintain design consistency Integrate with RabbitMQ for asynchronous processing and event-driven architecture Work with ElasticSearch for efficient search capabilities and data indexing Manage and maintain PostgreSQL and Redis data stores Containerize applications using Docker and ensure consistent environments across development and production Set up and monitor application health using Application Insights, logging, and alerting tools Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment using tools like JIRA

Proficient in JavaScript, Node.js, and Express.js Experience building and consuming REST APIs Solid understanding of frontend technologies: Backbone.js, DustJS, LESS Familiarity with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ) and search technologies (e.g., ElasticSearch) Knowledge of Docker and modern DevOps practices Experience working with PostgreSQL and Redis Ability to work in Agile teams and use project management tools (e.g., JIRA) Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills
