Objective / Project Overview Hardware reliability engineering team is looking for a reliability engineer. Support will include building the lab’s testing capabilities and focusing on the small details to make day-to-day activities running smoothly.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Materials Science, Automation, Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field
- Familiarity with consumer electronics products
- Onsite at Foxconn Taiwan
Skills
- 3 Years+ Laboratory, manufactory or experimentation experience
- Familiarity with environmental chambers, microscopes, or mechanical stress testers
- Understanding of failure analysis techniques (X-Ray, CT, SEM/EDS, FTIR, XPS, CSAM) is plus
Deliverables
- Calibrating and maintaining the reliability equipment and facilities
- Supporting failure analysis investigations
- Presenting test plan results
- Develop new reliability tests procedures and specifications
- Research new technologies to understand unique/new designs
- Collaborating with CM & engineers to conduct reliability tests
- Prepare concise and detailed test plans and analyze test results
- Supporting lab logistics including proactively manage project schedules, resources, and constraints, clearly communicating status and risks
- Partner with System Reliability Engineers to define priorities and ensure CM alignment
