About This Role
Working as a handyman and property maintenance subcontractor involves maintaining, repairing, and renovating residential properties. This role suits a dependable and hard-working individual who takes pride in their work and can efficiently keep properties in excellent condition.
Responsibilities
- Perform general handyman and home repairs
- Conduct interior and exterior property maintenance
- Repair and install drywall
- Perform painting and touch-ups
- Install and repair flooring
- Work on trim, doors, cabinets, and basic carpentry
- Perform plumbing repairs and fixture replacement
- Conduct basic electrical repairs and fixture installation
- Complete kitchen and bathroom renovations
- Perform turnover and make-ready work between tenants
- Prepare properties for the rental market
- Prepare properties for sale
- Complete punch-list items
- Execute property clean-up and improvement projects
- Identify maintenance issues and recommend solutions
- Assist with renovation and property improvement projects
- Complete projects professionally, safely, and on schedule

- Willing to handle both small repairs and larger renovation projects

- Licensed and insured contractors/subcontractors are strongly preferred, particularly for work requiring specialized licensing or permitting
