Duties

• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on building structures, fixtures, and equipment using power tools and manual handling techniques
• Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to accurately execute projects
• Conduct erosion control measures to prevent soil degradation during construction or landscaping activities
• Repair or replace damaged equipment, machinery, or plumbing components with mechanical knowledge and precision
• Follow strict workplace safety protocols, including OSHA safety standards, respiratory protection, climbing safety, and heavy lifting procedures
• Assist with implementing construction plans and ensuring adherence to safety regulations on-site
• Support industrial construction projects by managing manual handling tasks and ensuring safe use of equipment

Requirements

• Proven experience in industrial construction or maintenance environments with a focus on safety regulations and OSHA standards
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience repairing equipment and machinery
• Familiarity with erosion control techniques and environmental safety practices
• Capable of heavy lifting, climbing, and working at heights safely while following respiratory protection guidelines
• Knowledge of workplace safety regulations related to manual handling, power tools, and construction site protocols
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges
• Prior experience interpreting technical drawings and implementing construction plans is highly desirable
