About This Role
Rubio Family Handyman Services LLC is seeking a dependable, skilled, and versatile handyman to join our growing team. The role involves providing a variety of residential and commercial repair, maintenance, and improvement services throughout Lake and Orange Counties, requiring someone comfortable handling different types of projects from day to day.
Responsibilities
- Perform drywall installation, patching, and repair
- Carry out interior and exterior painting
- Install trim, baseboard, and molding
- Handle door installation, adjustment, and repair
- Conduct flooring installation and repairs, including laminate and LVP
- Execute minor carpentry and wood repairs
- Undertake deck and fence repairs
- Install furniture, shelving, TVs, and wall-mounted items
- Replace fixtures and hardware
- Perform caulking, sealing, and weatherproofing
- Complete general home maintenance and punch-list work
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and repair work
- Manage light demolition and job-site cleanup
Requirements
- Well-rounded handyman experience with the ability to handle multiple types of repairs and installations
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout our service area
- Must have your own basic tools
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve in the field
- Comfortable interacting professionally with customers
- Able to take photos, document completed work, and communicate job updates
- Ability to safely lift and carry materials and equipment as needed
- Willingness to learn and take on different types of projects
