Handyman

Rubio Family Handyman Services LLC is looking for a dependable, skilled, and versatile handyman to join our growing team. We provide a variety of residential and commercial repair, maintenance, and improvement services throughout Lake and Orange Counties, so we’re looking for someone comfortable handling different types of projects from day to day.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate should have experience with a variety of handyman and home improvement services, including:

• Drywall installation, patching, and repair
• Interior and exterior painting
• Trim, baseboard, and molding installation
• Door installation, adjustment, and repair
• Flooring installation and repairs, including laminate and LVP
• Minor carpentry and wood repairs
• Deck and fence repairs
• Furniture, shelving, TV, and wall-mounted item installation
• Fixture and hardware replacement
• Caulking, sealing, and weatherproofing
• General home maintenance and punch-list work
• Basic troubleshooting and repair work
• Light demolition and job-site cleanup

Experience in additional trades is a plus.

• Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout our service area
• Must have your own basic tools
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve in the field
• Comfortable interacting professionally with customers
• Able to take photos, document completed work, and communicate job updates
• Ability to safely lift and carry materials and equipment as needed
• Willingness to learn and take on different types of projects

Schedule & Compensation

We are open to part-time, full-time, or independent contractor arrangements depending on experience and availability.

Compensation is commission-based and dependent on experience, skill level, and the type of work being performed.
