Job Overview OldSchool Builders is seeking a reliable and skilled Hand to join our dedicated Field Operations team. In this role, you will contribute to both residential and commercial construction projects, working closely with a two-man crew. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, keeps job sites clean and organized, and is open to learning new skills. - Support construction tasks across residential and commercial job sites
- Assist crew leads with a variety of building trades as needed
- Maintain organized, clean, and safe job sites and shop areas
- Work outside of your primary skillset and be open to learning new trades
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals and deadlines are met
- Uphold quality standards on all job tasks
- Operate tools and equipment safely and responsibly
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with crew and supervisors
Qualifications
- 5+ years of construction-related experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a decent driving record
- Motivated, reliable, and trustworthy
- Respectful team player with a willingness to teach and cross-train
- Committed to doing quality work and improving every day
- Clean, organized, and detail-oriented on and off the job site
- No entitlement mentality—just a strong work ethic and a great attitude
