Responsibilities
- Provide a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to each client’s preferences and hair type
- Perform specialized services such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading to enhance client beauty routines
- Maintain a thorough understanding of salon software systems like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management
- Offer expert advice on hair care products, retail sales, and upselling opportunities to maximize client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Ensure all sanitation and safety standards are meticulously followed to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
- Assist with front desk duties such as greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling inquiries professionally
- Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair styling, color theory, and customer service excellence
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license with comprehensive knowledge of hair styling, coloring, and grooming techniques
- Proficiency with salon software systems such as MINDBODY for scheduling and client records management
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members
- Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe salon environment at all times
- Ability to perform retail math calculations for upselling products confidently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor that fosters repeat business
