Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional hair styling services to clients, including cuts, colors, and styling
- Maintain a high level of customer service by ensuring that all clients leave the salon feeling satisfied and happy with their experience
- Manage the salon environment to ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming atmosphere
- Utilize salon software to manage appointments, inventory, and sales
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior stylists to help them develop their skills and knowledge
- Keep up to date with the latest hair trends and techniques, and continually update your skills to ensure you are at the forefront of your field
- Use your expertise to upsell and cross-sell products and services to clients
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of the salon
- Maintain a thorough understanding of retail math and manage cash handling and inventory accurately
- Use your skills to create hair extensions and other styles that meet client demands
- Utilize a straight razor to provide high-quality shaving and cutting services
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
- Proven experience in a hair styling role, with a focus on customer service and quality of work
- Strong knowledge of hair styling techniques, including barbering and hair extensions
- Experience with salon software and retail math
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks at once
- A passion for hair styling and a commitment to ongoing learning and development
- A strong work ethic and a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team
