About This Role
This role is for an enthusiastic and experienced hairdresser or hair stylist to join a friendly salon. The ideal candidate will be confident in all aspects of hairdressing, have excellent customer service skills, and be passionate about delivering high-quality results.
Responsibilities
- Carry out all aspects of ladies' and gents' hairdressing
- Provide professional cutting, styling, blow-drying, and finishing services
- Perform all colouring techniques, including full colour, highlights, balayage, root touch-ups, and colour corrections
- Carry out hair treatments, conditioning services, and other specialist hairdressing treatments
- Provide professional hair consultations and recommend suitable styles, colours, and treatments
- Offer styling services for special occasions, including upstyles and occasion hair
- Maintain excellent standards of customer service and client satisfaction
- Ensure all salon equipment, tools, and workstations are kept clean, organised, and maintained to a high standard
- Work effectively as part of a team while also being confident managing appointments independently
- Stay up to date with current hairdressing trends, techniques, and products
- English speaking
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a hairdresser in a professional salon environment
- Competent and confident in all areas of hairdressing, particularly cutting, colouring, and styling
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Friendly, reliable, and professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work
- Good time management and organisational skills
