About the role
Position: Gynecologic Oncology Physician
Role: Provide specialized care in gynecologic oncology, including clinic consultations and operating room procedures. Responsible for managing a patient load of 15-20 in-office cases and assisting in surgeries as needed. Work involves outpatient clinic from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch, and OR shifts starting at 7 or 8 AM until 4 or 5 PM, with 24-hour weekend call coverage.
Qualifications: MD with board certification or eligibility in Gynecologic Oncology. Licensing through IMLC accepted; PA license preferred. Support staff includes 2 medical assistants and 3 advanced practice providers.
Key Duties
- Perform outpatient consultations and manage patient cases
- Conduct surgeries in the operating room as needed
- Participate in weekend call coverage
- Collaborate with support staff to ensure quality patient care
Additional Requirements: Support for credentialing and licensing, malpractice coverage, and licensing credentials will be provided. Additional details on procedures and patient load will be shared upon inquiry.
