Leading a passionate team and inspiring members to achieve their best is at the core of this Gym Manager role at Stepz Fitness Tuggerah. The position involves running a premium 24/7 facility, driving membership growth, and building a club culture that members love, with the autonomy to manage the club independently.
Responsibilities
- Lead from the front with tours, follow-ups, and lead conversion
- Build relationships with new members and support their growth and journey
- Drive membership growth and retention
- Lead, coach, and manage Personal Trainers, Group Instructors, and staff
- Deliver and lead functional group training sessions where required
- Manage day-to-day operations of a 24/7 club
- Run Group Training supported by Stepz TV
- Maintain high standards across member experience, cleanliness, and compliance
- Ensure the club is always tour-ready and KPI-focused
- Create a great member experience
- Share stories on social media and build engagement in club and online
- Get creative with regular photos and videos of the club and member achievements for Facebook and Instagram
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Gym Manager, Assistant Manager, or Fitness Sales Manager preferred
- Strong background in sales, lead conversion, and customer service
- Confident team leader with high personal energy on the gym floor
- Self-motivated with the initiative to run a club autonomously
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings or Saturdays
- Strong customer service, communication, and administrative skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certificate IV in Fitness (minimum)
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
