Group Fitness Instructor - Aqua Fitness

About This Role

Leading engaging and motivating group fitness classes is the core of this instructor role, ensuring a high-quality, safe, and inclusive experience for all participants. The position involves delivering programming that meets the company's standards and encourages continued member participation.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, safe, and enjoyable instruction in all Group Fitness classes to sustain and/or increase class participation
• Promote and support all Group Experience programming by encouraging continued participation in classes to increase Member engagement and adherence
• Share guidance, recommendations, and information about all Club services to best serve Members' needs
• Follow all class operating procedures and encourage Members to book into their next class at the end of each session
• Source and download class music to personal devices for use when teaching
• Learn new release material and scripting if applicable
• Review workout plans and scripting prior to class to ensure smooth and accurate class delivery
• Stay up to date with any education or changes in programming as required
• Stay informed about Club-relative information to promote in classes and inform Members when required
• Arrive in time to ensure class promptly starts on time
• Provide feedback to the General Manager when necessary, from themselves or Members, about schedules, studios, classes, etc.
• Seek ways to help ensure positive Member experiences and participation in Group Experience programming

Requirements

• Relevant certification
• Current CPR-A and AED certification
• Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of both internal and external customers
• Responds and relates well to Leaders
• Puts a lot of effort into activities
• Personally committed to and actively works towards continually improving themselves
• Always helpful to the rest of the team/other teams

• Compensation: prorated for shorter or longer classes
