Group Fitness Instructor

About This Role

Inspiring members to achieve their health and wellness goals through engaging, energetic, and expertly led group classes is the core of this role. You will deliver workout classes based on your experience that motivate participants, promote a positive environment, and build a community.

Responsibilities

• Lead group fitness classes across diverse formats such as cardio, strength training, HIIT training etc.
• Develop and modify class programs to suit different skill levels and ensure safety standards are maintained
• Demonstrate proper exercise techniques, emphasizing correct body mechanics to prevent injury
• Monitor participants
• form and technique during sessions, offering guidance on manual handling and body mechanics as needed

Requirements

• Preferred experience in leading group fitness classes within the fitness industry or health club environment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of participants effectively
• Certified in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation; first aid certification is essential
