Groundskeeper

About This Role

Working with your hands to enhance the school grounds and gardens, support minor classroom renovations, and help progress the Agriculture program is the core of this full-time groundskeeper position. This role suits a motivated and engaged team player who enjoys effecting positive change in a supportive, Christ-centred environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general grounds maintenance
• Conduct classroom repairs
• Ensure site safety
• Manage equipment and tools
• Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere, building strong relationships with students
• Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate general tasks and project work

Requirements

• Be a genuine person with a passion for working with children
• Possess a valid driver's licence (willingness to obtain an MR driver's licence, with costs covered by the school, is desirable)
• Have skills or experience with a relevant trade
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Be reliable and punctual
