About This Role
Maintaining the community grounds and ensuring excellent curb appeal is the primary focus of this role. The Groundskeeper also assists the maintenance team with minor tasks and contributes to meeting customer service standards.
Responsibilities
- Represent Woodward Management Partners in a professional manner at all times
- Maintain a professional, courteous attitude when dealing with residents, vendors, subordinates, employees, and the general public
- Comply with Federal Fair Housing laws and the American with Disabilities Act, as well as city, county, and state rules and regulations
- Be aware of and operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times
- Communicate with the Service Director regarding any issues that adversely impact property operations and ultimate financial success
- Blow leaves from sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, or other common areas
- Pick up exterior and interior litter, empty, and sanitize trash containers and dog waste stations
- Assist with maintaining sidewalks during inclement weather
- Replace exterior and interior light bulbs and globes
- Assist with washing windows and common area doorways
- Install and maintain fences and gates
- Assist with maintaining the pool and pool area
- Deliver resident letters and maintain confidentiality on any sensitive subject matter
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Director
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Dependable transportation
- Ability to accommodate a rotating on-call schedule
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and exert 50 lbs of force
- Ability to endure walking, squatting, bending, balancing, climbing, kneeling, crawling, and prolonged standing
- Ability to use hands to grip power and hand tools
