Groundskeeper

Making the property look its best every day is the core of this groundskeeping role, which involves working outdoors to maintain the beauty of the community. The work helps keep everything looking sharp and well-kept, from mowing lawns to planting flowers and ensuring the grounds are clean and inviting. This role is perfect for someone with at least one year of groundskeeping experience who enjoys the satisfaction of a job well done.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the facility grounds, including cleanliness and maintenance to company expectations
• Report maintenance and/or grounds concerns to management
• Mow lawns, treat weeds, trim trees and hedges, and perform general landscaping as requested by management
• Upkeep of onsite buildings, sidewalks, and pool area (when applicable), including painting and power washing
• Collect yard waste, trash/debris, clean building facilities, and empty common area trash containers
• Maintain swimming pool and pool area
• Dispense propane as needed
• Maintain company-owned rental units (cleaning and repairing as needed)
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

• At least 1 year of groundskeeping experience
• Customer service experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language at a level sufficient to communicate effectively with residents, guests, and co-workers
• Motivation and dedication to serving customers and a job well done
• Proficient with various hand tools and power equipment
• Must be within commuting distance from the property

Important Details

• Schedule: 8 hour shift, weekends as needed
