About This Role
Designing visual content for print and digital applications is the core responsibility of a Graphic Designer at Extramus. This role involves creating on-brand materials that reinforce the company's reputation, including internal communications, business materials, infographics, and presentation materials. The position also includes video clip editing for social media and assisting with communication plans.
Responsibilities
- Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements, forming a project team, and establishing a project budget
- Monitor project progress and publish reports
- Identify problems and recommend improved solutions
- Create workflow charts and diagrams, study system capabilities, and write specifications
- Improve systems and design modifications
- Keep confidential information and maintain user confidence
- Study business functions to determine operational objectives
- Design visual content for print and digital applications that is on-brand and reinforces the company's status and reputation
- Design and layout materials for internal communications and engagement with the board of directors
- Design and layout essential business materials (e.g., business cards, presentations)
- Create infographics and presentation materials to simplify communication of complex concepts and data
- Edit video clips for use on social media platforms
- Assist the team in developing and executing communications plans
Requirements
- Verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organization, time management, and prioritization skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with attention to detail and follow up
- Ability to work well in a team environment, along with being self-motivated and independent
- Problem-solving skills, being open-minded and tolerant
