About This Role
Designing the graphics for customer buses using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is the core of this job. The role involves coordinating with customers, managing design approvals, and overseeing the production and application of stickers and paint designs on the buses.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for all customer bus design requirements activities
- Use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for bus design, confirm dimensions, and send the design to the customer for review and confirmation
- Coordinate with customers to review design drawings and carry out amendments if necessary
- Seek customer approval by signing on design drawings prior to paint spraying
- Coordinate with relevant departments for paint ordering when needed and cutting stickers as per customer requirements
- Identify non-conforming parts and take corrective actions for touch-up when necessary
- Use a Cutting Plotter for cutting stickers according to the bus design and other requirements
- Control sticker stock and reduce wastage
- Arrange the schedule for pasting stickers on the bus during the paint spraying process
- Check and monitor the paint spraying process and stickers as per specifications
- Assist with photo shooting (external & internal) before delivery of the bus to the customer
- Upload photos to TMS Facebook & website and send the photos to the customer upon request
- Liaise with external and internal parties on matters relating to bus design and customer
- Update the latest bus design information for continual improvement
- Maintain good housekeeping and safety in the office
- Ensure ISO 9001 procedures are being followed
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by a superior from time to time
Requirements
- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Preferred)
- Designer experience: 3 years (Preferred)
- Artificial Intelligence experience: 3 years (Preferred)
- Adobe Illustrator experience: 3 years (Preferred)
- Willingness to travel: 100% (Preferred)
