Bronx River Alliance
This role serves as the central coordinator for the Bronx River Alliance's awarded government and private grants and contracts. The Grants Manager ensures that grant commitments, budgets, deliverables, reporting requirements, and compliance obligations are effectively managed across the organization. Working within the Development team and in close partnership with Programs and Finance, the Manager provides dedicated post-award oversight of the Alliance's institutional funding portfolio, with particular responsibility for complex government grants and contracts. A key priority will be leading the transition of existing grant tracking into Salesforce as the Alliance's centralized grants-management system.
Nice to have:
The Bronx River Alliance serves as a coordinated voice for the river and works with over 100 partners—including NYC Parks—to protect, improve, and restore the river so that it is a healthy ecological, recreational, educational, and economic resource for all communities through which the river flows. Since being founded in 2001, the Alliance has engaged over 24,000 volunteers, nearly 27,000 people have paddled with them, they have improved 26 acres of parkland, secured and coordinated over $250M, and created 22 acres of new parkland.
