About the role
Role Overview: This position is for a newly licensed nurse participating in a comprehensive RN Residency Program designed to develop clinical and critical thinking skills in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities Include
- Providing high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with nursing standards and collaborating with healthcare teams.
- Assessing patient conditions, performing procedures, administering medications, and documenting care accurately.
- Responding promptly to patient needs, advocating for patients and families, and educating them on medical conditions, treatments, and medications.
- Working in specialties such as Medical-Surgical, ICU, Progressive Care/Step-Down, and Emergency Services.
- Participating in ongoing education, simulations, preceptorship, and evidence-based projects.
Qualifications
- Valid Florida RN license or approved multistate license; compact license holders have 60 days to obtain Florida license.
- Current BLS certification; ACLS within one year of employment.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- No prior experience required; some travel for training may be needed.
Skills & Attributes: Strong communication, clinical skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Ability to work collaboratively and follow established protocols.
