About the role
Key Responsibilities:-
- Support day-to-day manufacturing/engineering activities under experienced engineers.
- Assist in production planning, process improvement and shop-floor activities.
- Understand engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs and technical documentation.
- Support quality inspection and process quality activities.
- Assist in identifying and resolving basic technical/process issues.
- Gain exposure to electrical/mechanical equipment and manufacturing processes.
- Follow EHS, quality and company procedures.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance and other teams.
- Maintain required reports, records and technical documentation.
- Participate in continuous improvement and productivity improvement initiatives.
- Learn GE Vernova's engineering, manufacturing and safety standards.
