Job Purpose
Government accounts from HNW RM portfolios have been removed from FY 2019 2020 to allow HNW RMs to focus on Individuals and build a granular book of CASA for the bank. All Government Relationships which had RMs mapped to them earlier don't have any relationship manager as of today and are underserved and underexploited from an opportunity extraction perspective. Institutions continue to be part of HNW portfolio; the GRSM will only manage Government Accounts and not Institutions. There are select branches which are doing exceedingly well on government business and have a large portfolio built over the last 2 decades. These Relationships require extensive engagement and very close coordination with the government officials to maintain the same and also tap new opportunities coming up every year. For effective management of these Relationships, their servicing and generation of new business, dedicated resources are required in these Focus and Government Potential branches. The Government Relationship & Service Manager (GRSM) will report to the Branch head who is presently managing these relationships and will be accountable for CIB growth, new acquisition & wholesale assets from the Government ecosphere. Key areas of work would be to ensure maximum penetration in these Government Relationships and shift lateral accounts from existing banker to Bank.
Job Responsibilities
Business Management The GRSM will:
a) Work on managing the existing Government Relationships and enhance and deepen their overall relationship with our Bank. He should focus on getting more Liability Values from Competition Bank.
b) Customization requirements for this Segment / Entity and offer them our World Class Bank Products and Digital Solutions offered by us.
c) Independently influence the Key Officials in the NTB Government Departments in getting their Banking shifted to our Bank. He should facilitate in getting the Approvals for doing Virtual Webinars, Physical Training Sessions and Events for the Govt. Employees along with our Assets and TPP Team.
d) Carry % Growth Plan Target at Govt. Relationship Level as an evaluation matrix (CASA, Liability Inc. Value Plan and FD Penetration, Digital Penetration).
Process / Product knowledge
Narrative Capability Building
Working jointly with Wholesale Assets Team for exploring Lending Relationship / Facilities to these Government Relationships.
