WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
We in Agricultural Solutions are preparing to be an independent, pure-play agricultural company within BASF group. To be ready for independence, we are looking for you to join us in our new Corporate roles (see here: Build Your Career on Our Standalone Transformation ).
- In your new position, you develop and execute global sourcing strategies for assigned categories and drive their implementation across regions and sites.
- Right in the heart of things! You lead global tenders and negotiations, establish framework agreements, and build preferred supplier networks to create sustainable value.
- Furthermore, you consolidate demand, promote standardization initiatives, and identify cost reduction opportunities through bundling, optimization, and strategic sourcing approaches.
- Together with your colleagues, you manage supplier performance, mitigate risks, and collaborate closely with category managers, sites, engineering, and supply chain stakeholders worldwide.
- Sustainability is important to you! You monitor supplier performance indicators, support continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to achieving procurement and sustainability targets.
WHAT YOU OFFER
- bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, supply chain management, procurement, engineering, or a comparable field
- at least three to five years of professional experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement within a global and multi-site environment
- strong expertise in RFx processes, supplier negotiations, contract management, supplier relationship management, cost analysis, and procurement analytics
- very good English language skills as well as sound knowledge of SAP and common Microsoft Office applications
- proven digital and AI focus with the ability to leverage modern technologies and data-driven approaches to enhance efficiency and quality
- excellent stakeholder management and communication skills combined with strong analytical thinking, a structured way of working, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
