Watts & Associates is working discreetly with a highly regarded AM Law 50 international law firm seeking a Global Project, Energy & Infrastructure Finance Special Counsel or Senior Associate to join its Los Angeles office.

The Role
The successful attorney will support and lead key components of Global Project, Energy & Infrastructure Finance Special Counsel or Senior Associate matters, including:
- Advise on complex structured financial transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
- Lead renewable project finance matters.
- Handle tax-credit monetization and energy-transition transactions.
- Counsel project developers, investors and lenders through financing structures and execution.
- Coordinate sophisticated transaction workstreams and manage deal teams.
- Support client development and mentor junior lawyers.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The firm is seeking a Global Project, Energy & Infrastructure Finance Special Counsel or Senior Associate with:
- Extensive experience advising on complex structured finance transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
- Strong renewable project finance experience, including tax-credit monetization and energy-transition transactions.
- Proven ability to lead sophisticated transactions at a major law firm or in-house legal team.
- Strong academic credentials and deep industry knowledge in natural resources and infrastructure.
Preferred / advantageous: Business acumen, client-development experience and the ability to mentor junior lawyers are highly valued.
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $390,000-$455,000, depending on experience, qualifications and other relevant factors.
