Global Process Lead, Revenue Operations

About This Role

This role focuses on managing Google's incoming cash transactions globally, ensuring that all processes are controlled, effective, and efficient. The Global Process Lead will find innovative ways to manage complex transactions, making processes more efficient and scalable while minimizing operational risk. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to implement solutions that support revenue growth and ensuring high-quality, controlled order-to-cash processes.

Responsibilities

• Define process requirements for revenue and cash operations, designing for new products and systems implementation in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Lead the operational integration for revenue and cash operations of newly acquired companies in conjunction with partners
• Consult with product areas and global counterparts to understand the operational environment and impacts of changes and issues
• Drive proactive resolution of identified gaps, and effectively analyze data sets to test hypotheses and provide insights to influence decision making
• Perform a high level of operational process design and reengineering
• Drive an increase in productivity and efficiency across process areas while balancing risk and quality
• Ensure tax, Sarbanes Oxley, and local entity compliance
• Ensure readiness on supporting new and existing functionality

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or Operations, or equivalent practical experience
• 10 years of experience in management consulting, an operations-related function, or equivalent field, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree in business, accounting, or finance
• Experience managing multiple cross-functional projects, identifying and implementing process improvements, or experience supporting implementation or transformation projects

Nice to have:

• MBA or Master’s degree
• Experience leading large, cross-functional projects and systems transformation initiatives, including identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across revenue and payment operations
• Experience with SAP and practical knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean, or related continuous process improvement methodologies
• Strong business judgment, problem-solving capability, and communication skills with a proven track record of influencing leadership teams across product and finance

The Revenue to Cash Operations (RCO) team at Google manages the company's incoming cash transactions globally. Within RCO, the Revenue Operations team handles global invoicing, intake of new product and FOP launches, tax operations, billing modifications, refunds, disbursements, payments optimization, and AUP.
