YOUR ROLE
Reporting to the Chief Communications Officer, the Global Head of Media Relations and Corporate Content is responsible for developing and implementing the communication strategy for all media relations activities and critical internal and external communications programs, including executive communications. The position is also responsible for strategic communication activities and corporate content, including the company’s overall corporate messaging and content consistency in support of the CEVA brand visual identity, as managed by the Brand and Digital Communications team
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Manages the media relations, strategic communications and corporate content policies, planning and budget, in coordination with overall corporate communications goals.
- Direct, develop or maintain all corporate-level content and messaging, ensuring consistent positioning and messaging across all communications channels—internal and external.
- Extend written brand voice and maintain written brand integrity across all platforms in close connection with the brand manager in the marketing communications team.
- Support Chief Communications Officer in building CEO and Executive Board communications to key internal and external stakeholders (Group, Management, Employees, Media, Industry Events, etc.).
- Support all M&A activities with strategy, messaging and content services.
- Support thought activities with strategy, messaging and content services.
- Coordinating cross-functional projects with digital, social media and internal communications teams where needed.
- Manages applicable awards and rankings process, identifying strategic awards to boost CEVA’s credibility and awareness in key markets or geographies (e.g. Gartner, Top 3PL lists).
- Performing research into audience demographics and devising strategies accordingly for press opportunities at the GHO and Regional levels.
- Designating and training spokespeople for the organization; serving as the GHO spokesperson when needed.
- Manage crisis response by coming up with a rapid response plan and ensuring that official communications go to the proper media channels.
- Provide advice to leadership on strategic communication strategies and any ongoing or planned campaigns.
- Monitoring coverage across different media types.
- Writing and approving press releases and other PR collateral at the GHO or regional level. Coordinating with local CEVA or PR agency resources as needed.
- Coordinating press conferences and media availability.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications or journalism
- 12-15 years of progressive communications experience (agency, corporate, etc.)
- Outstanding written and oral English communication skills; working-level French is a plus, but not required
- Extensive global communications experience
- Perform as a leader with minimal supervision, taking full ownership of projects and either functioning autonomously or working in coordination with matrixed team structures on specific projects.
- Ability to interact with C-suite executives naturally and effectively
- Teamwork and the ability to lead and motivate coworkers or direct reports to produce high-level, brand-driven content
- Analytical skills to solve problems and find the best way to convey a message
- Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize projects while working on a deadline or in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible approach to working hours in order to support a 24/7 global organization
