About the role
Atrium is working with a client in NY that will compensate for relocation of the right candidate to lead the Global Accounting Operations and Financial Reporting functions and SAP implementation for the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Report to the CFO and lead a team of 6 direct reports and several indirect reports underneath + additional dotted lines to several plants
- Partner with executives and cross-functional leadership to drive strategy and long-term planning
- Own SOX, GAAP, IFRS, statutory reporting, external audit communications, etc
- Implement SAP and process improvements including spearheading the AI roadmap for accounting
- Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and operations to establish a global cost accounting standard
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (MBA preferred)
- Active CPA
- Big 4 experience is a plus
- 20+ years of experience with 10+ years in leadership
- Ability to relocate to Long Island, NY if not currently residing there (company paid)
- SAP implementation experience
- Large manufacturing company experience (semiconductor or related is a plus)
