About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager, Product Development to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will lead multiple technical programs within product development, ensuring complex software initiatives are delivered with clarity, discipline, and cross-functional alignment. The position will partner closely with product, engineering, and senior stakeholders to translate business objectives into executable plans and measurable outcomes. It also requires strong governance, risk management, and communication skills to support timely decisions and keep delivery on track.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $120,000 – $145,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage concurrent technical programs across product development
  • Drive the delivery of OKRs by collaborating closely with key stakeholders
  • Identify dependencies and friction points early to mitigate delivery risks
  • Establish governance frameworks for decision-making and escalations
  • Maintain strict execution discipline by managing scope, risks, and change control
  • Facilitate alignment among diverse teams to drive actionable outcomes
  • Communicate program updates and insights to senior leadership succinctly and effectively
  • Mentor and enhance the skills of colleagues in program management best practices

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in Technical Program Management within a software engineering context
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale software releases, with at least three major releases completed
  • Strong skills in translating business goals into detailed execution plans and outcomes
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and Technical Program Management tools like Jira and Confluence
  • Experience in risk identification, impact assessment, and mitigation strategies
  • Exceptional facilitation and negotiation skills, with experience driving cross-team alignment
