About The Role We go beyond traditional financial services to reduce complexity for high-net-worth (HNW) clients, creating a foundation of trust, clarity, and long-term security across generations. As an Estate Planner / Generation Manager within our Wealth Consulting team, you will advise private clients and families on complex wealth succession, asset transfers, and intergenerational planning.
Working alongside key client advisors, you will tackle sophisticated mandates (:50 cases p.a.) and actively shape the expansion of our regional Estate Planning practice. We value diverse professional backgrounds—whether you come from wealth management, family offices, or financial planning, we provide the platform and fully fund any required specialized certifications. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Advisory: Provide HNW clients with structured estate and succession planning tailored to multi-generational goals.
- Structuring Solutions: Identify legal, tax, and organizational frameworks—including foundations, gifts, and asset transfers—to optimize long-term wealth preservation.
- Joint Client Engagement: Collaborate directly with Private Banking and wealth advisors on complex, high-value client cases.
- Business Development: Drive fee-based advisory revenue (Honorarbasis) and expand share-of-wallet across key client portfolios.
- Process Innovation: Contribute strategic ideas, modern tools, and fresh impulses to evolve the business line's offerings and advisory framework.
Requirements Must-Haves:
- Relevant Experience: 2–3+ years of experience in wealth structuring, succession planning, Private Banking, Wealth Management, Financial Planning, or a Family Office environment.
- Domain Knowledge: Solid foundational understanding of wealth preservation, asset transfer structures, or German inheritance/tax concepts.
- Soft Skills & Articulation: C1+ fluent German with exceptional empathy, diplomatic sensitivity, and strong communication skills for emotional family discussions.
- Openness to Development: Motivation to complete specialized certifications (e.g., Certified Estate/Financial Planner), which will be fully organized and sponsored by the firm.
- Location Presence: Ability to work hybrid in the Lake Constance region and conduct local client visits.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Completed banking apprenticeship (Bankkaufmann), degree in Law, Finance, or Economics, or existing Estate Planner certifications.
- Experience with MS 365 and digital financial/estate-planning tools.
