Geriatric Assistant - Nursing Assistant

About This Role

This role involves providing comprehensive care to elderly residents, accompanying them with respect, empathy, and closeness in their daily lives. The Geriatric Assistant ensures the comfort, health, and dignity of older adults, collaborating closely with the healthcare and multidisciplinary team at the center.

Responsibilities

• Care for, accompany, and assist residents in their daily activities, always striving for their physical, emotional, and social well-being
• Collaborate in the development and support of therapies, following the instructions of healthcare personnel and the direct care team
• Serve and assist with breakfasts, snacks, and other meals, as well as keeping residents' personal belongings clean and in good condition
• Accompany residents on walks and activities, and help them get into or out of bed, especially those with reduced mobility
• Perform personal hygiene for residents
• Carry out necessary mobilizations to promote comfort and prevent complications arising from immobility
• Communicate any incidents or changes in the resident's condition to the nursing or supervision team

Important Details

• Contract: initial 6-month temporary contract with option for continuity
• Schedule: full-time, Monday to Sunday on evening shift (14:45-22:00) with rotating days off
• Start date: immediate incorporation
