About the role
An established geotechnical consulting firm with a strong presence across Texas is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer (PE) to support a growing portfolio of Data Center and Mission Critical projects throughout Central Texas.

Responsibilities
- Manage geotechnical projects from proposal through completion.
- Plan and oversee subsurface investigations and field exploration programs.
- Perform geotechnical analyses and develop foundation recommendations.
- Prepare and review geotechnical reports and technical deliverables.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, architects, and design teams.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and staffing resources.
- Support client relationship management and business development efforts.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License required.
- 5+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.
- Experience supporting Data Center, Mission Critical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or similar large-scale developments.
- Strong understanding of geotechnical investigations, foundation systems, and engineering analysis.
- Experience preparing technical reports and interacting directly with clients.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Must be based in the Austin area or willing to relocate.
