General Store Manager

About This Role

This General Store Manager role is for a Domino's Pizza franchise, offering a dynamic environment focused on fun, skill development, and rapid career growth. The manager is the leader of the store, responsible for all aspects of operations during their shift, and is expected to set an example for the team.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for all cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations during the shift
• Follow all company policies and procedures 100% of the time and ensure the crew does the same
• Lead a team toward the goal of selling more pizzas and having more fun
• Manage staffing, paperwork submission, food management, and scheduling
• Maintain image standards and store cleanliness
• Oversee marketing and profitability
• Direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, and work under stress
• Meet strict quality control standards
• Coordinate with coworkers and customers
• Analyze and compile data
• Make sound, ethical judgments and decisions in a timely manner
• Greet customers enthusiastically and maintain a positive personality
• Take orders and field customer concerns with a smile
• Operate, clean, and maintain all store facility and equipment
• Prepare product to Domino’s specifications and guidelines
• Take inventory and stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in or reach-in cooler, and complete associated paperwork
• Receive and process telephone orders expeditiously to ensure customer satisfaction and timely pizza delivery

Requirements

• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area
• Ability to navigate diverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
• Ability to make correct monetary change
• Comfortability utilizing a computer keyboard, touch screen, and foot-paddle

Important Details

• Physical requirements: daily tasks are performed from a standing position, on feet for the majority of the shift
• Walking surfaces include ceramic tile "bricks" with linoleum in some food process areas
• Height of work surfaces is between 36" and 4”
• Bulk product deliveries are made two to three times per week and require unloading by team members
