General Pipeline Costumer

About This Role

This role involves developing and designing costume items according to technical and artistic project specifications. You will collaborate with operational teams to optimize items and improve their lifespan, while understanding the needs of costume use in a live performance context.

Responsibilities

• Develop costume models in compliance with APTO standards: Artistic, Performance, Technical, and Operations
• Be influential with costume designers and artists
• Work closely with various stakeholders involved in the development of costume items
• Conduct costume fittings with artists
• Write and update technical documentation

Requirements

• DEP in men's and women's clothing techniques, DEC in fashion design, theatrical production, or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience, ideally in stage costume making
• Knowledge of manufacturing methods
• In-depth knowledge of different fabrics
• Ability to adapt to unforeseen circumstances and work in a team
• Ability to manage stress and work with short deadlines
• Positive and motivated attitude
• Good execution speed
• Autonomy
• Fluency in French and English
