About the role

Position Overview

BayCare Medical Group is seeking a General Neurohospitalist to provide coverage at St. Anthony’s Hospital, a 426-bed facility certified as a Primary Stroke Center by The Joint Commission, with plans on becoming a comprehensive stroke center in 2027.

What you can expect:

  • Provide inpatient neurology care, including new consults, follow-up visits, and related patient calls.
  • Join a growing team of 4 Neurohospitalists with the support of 2 APPs.
  • Enjoy a 7-on/7-off schedule that supports strong work–life balance.
  • Practice exclusively at one hospital location.
  • Work collaboratively with BayCare Medical Group’s outpatient Neurology team of board-certified neurologists.
  • Tele-stroke service coverage of stroke alerts.
  • Candidates should be comfortable managing a broad range of neurological conditions and interpreting EEGs.

Qualifications

  • Board Certification/Board Eligibility by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
  • Ability to obtain a Florida medical license.
