Alam Textile & Garments is one of Bangladesh's leading apparel manufacturers, recognized for its commitment to quality, operational excellence, and continuous innovation. We are looking for a dynamic, results-oriented General Manager – Production to lead our production operations and drive manufacturing performance at our Shyampur factory.
- Lead and oversee all production operations to ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Develop and implement production strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and cost optimization.
- Ensure on-time delivery while maintaining the highest standards of product quality.
- Collaborate closely with Merchandising, Planning, Industrial Engineering (IE), Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth production flow.
- Monitor production KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve factory performance.
- Optimize manpower utilization and production capacity.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and waste reduction initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental standards, and buyer requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop production managers, line managers, and supervisors.
- Prepare production reports and present operational updates to senior management.
Requirements
- Experience: 12+ years
- Education: bachelor of science in textile engineering (te)
