General Maintenance Technician

About This Role

This role involves extensive travel to maintain multiple restaurant locations, ensuring they are safe, clean, and well-maintained for staff and customers. It suits a "jack-of-all-trades" who enjoys life on the road and can proactively address maintenance needs.

Responsibilities

• Proactively inspect grounds, plumbing, electrical fixtures, and kitchen equipment for preventative maintenance
• Satisfy all work orders from the corporate office in a timely manner, including plumbing, painting, tile work, and carpentry
• Identify and make necessary repairs on-site, even if they are not on the initial dispatch sheet
• Maintain professional, positive communication with restaurant employees, managers, and corporate staff

Requirements

• Proven experience in plumbing, painting, tile work, and carpentry
• Background in restaurant equipment repair is strongly preferred
• Ability to read and interpret safety manuals and work orders
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to solve practical problems efficiently in a variety of situations
