Job Role Gardener / Mali Job Description

• Maintain gardens, lawns, plants, trees, and other green areas.
• Water plants and ensure proper irrigation.
• Perform regular gardening and landscaping activities.
• Trim, prune, and maintain plants, bushes, and trees as required.
• Remove weeds, dry leaves, and unwanted plants from garden areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper appearance of the garden.
• Use gardening tools and equipment safely and properly.
• Assist with planting new plants, flowers, and trees.
• Follow instructions provided by the employer or supervisor.
• Ensure regular upkeep and maintenance of the assigned garden area.

Key Responsibilities

• Plant Maintenance: Take care of plants, flowers, trees, and shrubs.
• Watering: Water plants regularly according to their requirements.
• Pruning & Trimming: Trim branches, bushes, and plants to maintain their appearance.
• Garden Cleaning: Remove leaves, weeds, and other waste from garden areas.
• Planting: Assist with planting and maintaining new plants.
• Lawn Maintenance: Maintain lawns and other landscaped areas.
• Tool Handling: Properly use and maintain gardening tools and equipment.
• General Upkeep: Ensure the garden remains clean, healthy, and well-maintained.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a Gardener / Mali is preferred.
• Should have practical knowledge of basic gardening activities.
• Should be hardworking, responsible, and punctual.
• Should be physically fit to perform outdoor gardening work.
• Should be comfortable working with plants, soil, and gardening equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain the assigned area properly.
