About This Role

This scheduler role coordinates staffing for table games at a premier casino resort, ensuring all shifts are properly staffed. It involves preparing and maintaining various scheduling lists, tracking attendance, and processing payroll edits. The role suits an organized individual with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily scheduling to ensure adequate staffing levels, including adjusting schedules for absences or shortages and assigning unassigned team members to workstations
• Communicate staffing levels to supervisors and managers
• Edit payroll for hourly department team members
• Respond to team member inquiries and process department paperwork, such as requests for time-off and schedule and status changes, ensuring accuracy and proper processing
• Track attendance and variances, maintaining documentation
• Prepare and maintain daily sign-in, call-in, and early-out lists
• File and maintain team member paperwork

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Beginning proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, database, and electronic mail software
• Ability to communicate information and ideas in English so others will understand
