About This Role
This senior game developer role involves creating and refining features for a flagship casual mobile game, with a focus on delivering innovative gameplay experiences to millions of players worldwide. The position offers remote work flexibility within the CET +/-2 hours time zone, allowing for collaboration with a global team. As part of a small, passionate team, the developer will be involved in all stages of game development, from ideation to deployment.
Responsibilities
- Develop client-facing features, emphasizing user interface, animations, and overall polish
- Work on core gameplay improvements, ensuring engaging and seamless mechanics
- Develop new meta features to enhance game depth and replayability
- Refine and enhance existing systems based on player feedback and data analysis
- Contribute to the overall game design process
- Oversee testing phases and implement revisions to optimize player experience
- Collaborate closely with designers, artists, and other developers to shape the future of the flagship game
Requirements
- Over 5 years of professional experience in C# programming and Unity game development
- Proven track record of delivering successful mobile games
- Deep understanding of the casual gaming market
- Expertise in specialized areas such as animation, particle systems, shaders, architecture, performance optimization, or networking
- Strong problem-solving abilities, particularly in optimizing game performance and ensuring smooth gameplay
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
