About This Role
Developing a complete 3D mobile farming simulation game for both iOS and Android is the core of this project-based role. The game will draw inspiration from popular farming simulation titles like Hay Day, featuring interactive farming mechanics, 3D environments, player progression, multiplayer functionalities, and in-game monetization. This is a one-time project, with potential for future engagements based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop a complete 3D farming simulation game using Unity and C#
- Build and optimize the game for both iOS and Android devices
- Implement farming mechanics, including planting, harvesting, animals, and production buildings
- Develop farm customization, land expansion, and progression systems
- Integrate multiplayer features, player trading, friends, and social interactions
- Implement daily rewards, challenges, seasonal events, and leaderboards
- Integrate in-app purchases, virtual currencies, and premium features
- Develop or integrate backend systems, player accounts, and cloud saving
- Ensure smooth gameplay, performance optimization, and bug fixing
- Prepare and publish the completed game on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
- Deliver complete source code and technical documentation upon project completion
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Unity 3D and C#
- Proven experience developing and launching mobile games for iOS and Android
- Experience with 3D game environments, animations, and interactive gameplay
- Understanding of multiplayer systems, APIs, and backend integration
- Experience with mobile game monetization and in-app purchases
- Knowledge of game performance optimization across mobile devices
- Ability to independently manage development milestones and deliverables
